Peter Foster is a commercial litigation and family law attorney with experience in federal and state courts in a wide variety of cases, including contract, fraud, and negligence matters. He routinely represents clients in business disputes involving breach of contract and commercial torts.

A Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” and Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” honoree, Peter represents clients in commercial disputes, including real estate transactions, lending, landlord-tenant, shareholder controversies, business break-ups, and receiverships. He has experience litigating claims for nondisclosure, misrepresentation, unfair competition, interference with contract, fraudulent transfer, and other commercial torts. Peter also has a family law practice, helping clients navigate pre- and post-decree issues with divorce, including division of assets and liabilities, legal decision-making, parenting time, child support, and spousal maintenance.

Peter earned his J.D. from the Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008. He served on the Gonzaga Law Review as an Associate Editor from 2006 through 2008. He also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Professional Responsibility.

Prior to law school, Peter earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Georgia in 2005. Peter is a proud alumnus of the University of Arizona, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003. In his spare time, Peter is a slow runner and aspiring beach bum.
