Attorney Polina Shapiro is the founder and managing partner of Bodner Shapiro Law Group. Attorney Shapiro concentrates her practice on probate administration as well as estate planning, family law, personal injury and business law. She is frequently called upon to handle some of the most complex probate and family matters involving high net worth estates and difficult family situations. Attorney Shapiro also works with small business owners, assisting them during all phases of the business life cycle. Additionally, Attorney Shapiro spends a significant amount of her time fighting for the rights of her personal injury clients.

Attorney Shapiro graduated from Suffolk University Law School with honors (magna cum laude) in 2004, in the top 3 percent of her class. While in law school, she received numerous academic achievement awards and served as an editor on the Suffolk Law Review, the quarterly legal periodical.

Earlier in her career, Attorney Shapiro practiced at the Boston office of Ropes & Gray, LLP, a leading global law firm, where she was involved in all aspects of the civil litigation. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary Katzmann of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. There, she researched and drafted judicial opinions on a variety of complex criminal and civil issues.

With a long history of successful entrepreneurs in her family, Attorney Shapiro was destined to open her own law practice. A creative problem-solver and driven by a strong desire to help others, she chose to offer her services to individuals and families in the time of need, as well as to small business owners like herself. With a motto of “small town service, big law firm quality,” Attorney Shapiro always provides the highest quality legal advice tailored to the individual needs of her clients.

Born in Uzbekistan, Attorney Shapiro moved to Massachusetts after her family immigrated to the United States in 1993. Today, she lives in Simsbury, Connecticut, with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, movies, reading, cooking, and biking. Attorney Shapiro speaks Russian fluently.
