More About Frie, Arndt, Danborn & Thiessen P.C.

Our firm was founded in 1985, and there are good reasons for our continued success. Simply put, we offer devoted service to our clients. We work hard, and try to help clients think clearly about their legal problems and to explore alternative ways to resolve them. We are tenacious, not only in our conduct of litigation, but also in the attention we bring to our client’s concerns.

Paul R. Danborn

Paul is a native Coloradoan, graduating from the University of Denver College of Law in 1994 and joining Bob Frie and Jim Arndt as an associate in 1995. In 2001 he became a partner in the firm.

Paul’s practice areas include Community Association Law (homeowner association or HOA law), both representing associations as well as individuals; Family Law (dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibility and custody, child support, and parenting time disputes); Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, and powers of attorney); and Probate Administration and Litigation. Paul also represents clients in civil litigation disputes regarding real estate, contract, and business law, both through trial and where necessary in the Colorado Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

Paul enjoys the multi-faceted aspects of his practice. First and foremost are the personal relationships with clients, and meeting their legal needs in a clear and efficient manner. It is immensely satisfying to meet the anticipatory challenges of transactional work; to prepare a case for trial while exploring the possibility of settlement; and to persuasively argue a particular position at trial or on appeal.

Paul volunteers as a board member for his neighborhood homeowners association and for activities with the Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club. Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, trail running, and skiing.
