Jennifer M. Guida

Jennifer joined Westlake Legal Group in 2012 and became a partner in 2019. She focuses her practice on family law, administrative hearings, estate planning, and civil litigation.

Jennifer has experience litigating and resolving family law matters, including but not limited to: high conflict divorce cases, including successfully obtaining divorces for her clients based on domestic abuse, adultery, and desertion and/or abandonment; highly contested custody and visitation cases, including temporary emergency orders; spousal support matters, including permanent awards and imputation of income; child support, including awards of child support for children beyond the age of 18 who are unable to financially support themselves due to medical/mental health conditions; equitable distribution, including multimillion-dollar marital estates and court findings of waste by one party; and adoption and guardianship, both contested and uncontested.

Jennifer has experience with administrative hearings with the Virginia Department of Family Services, including successively having founded reports overturned in the appellate process; and educational institutions relative to school procedures and student handbook violations.

Jennifer has helped clients prepare their estates for the future through the estate planning process, including revocable living trusts, last will, and testaments, powers of attorney, guardianship, and conservatorship. Jennifer has also helped clients probate estates after loved ones have passed away, including testamentary and intestacy probate, both contested and uncontested.

Jennifer practices in state and federal courts, bankruptcy court, and various appellate courts.

Jennifer lives in Loudoun County with her husband and three sons. Jennifer enjoys traveling, exercising, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family.
